How writers can maximize revenue and relevance

Short fiction is enjoying a market resurgence and provides opportunities that can benefit you again and again over the long term of your career. It builds your author brand, grows readership, and can create additional revenue streams.

Even better: You’ll find there’s a multitude of publishing options within both traditional publishing and indie publishing. You can leverage existing tools and platforms to reach a global audience in print, ebook, and audio formats.

On April 22, this one-hour session with Mark Leslie Lefebvre equips you with the insights, knowledge, and strategies for effectively publishing short fiction. By the end of this class, you will:

  • Create additional assets that expand your offerings in breadth and depth
  • Reach new readers, enhance your author brand, and create new cash flow opportunities
  • Leverage your intellectual property on one story or project multiple times and in multiple formats
  • Understand the contract rights on stories you have previously sold or licensed via publishers and online platforms
  • Discover marketing ideas that take advantage of newly created work or previously published, reprinted, revised, or re-imagined writing
  • Reuse, re-sell, and recycle material to reach new readers on multiple retail and library platforms
  • Expand and continue to grow your writing income streams
  • Generate fresh and valuable reader-magnet content for your author newsletter
  • Offer your existing readers and newsletter subscribers fresh and unique material

This session will show concrete examples of the choices, options, and tools available to help writers explore the use of short fiction as a part of maintaining a long-term and successful author career.
